Chrissy Schalk is a performer and educator with extensive experience in color guard and the marching arts. They participated in their high school winter program from 2016–2019 and were a member of the fall guard from 2018–2020 at Walter E. Stebbins High School. Chrissy joined Onyx Independent Open for the 2020 season and went on to perform with Onyx World for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. They also marched with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps in 2021.

In addition to performing, Chrissy has taught part-time with multiple high school programs and served as a marching staff member for Homage Independent IA. Outside of the marching arts, they are a state-tested nursing assistant and are currently working at Starbucks.
